Owners William McIntrye (a New Orleans native) and Russell Davis founded the Saltwater Grill in April 2004 and offer New Orleans seafood, grilled, fried and boiled. Their emphasis is creating tradition New Orleans meals with fluffier breads, bigger shrimp, overstuffed and their own unique mixture of seasonings. Grilled, boiled, fried seafood are offered as well as raw oysters. They offer local beers and national beers as well as most any mixed drink you can imagine. Open seven days, Monday-Saturday, Lunch 11:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and Dinner 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Sunday brunch served at 2:30 p.m. Coming attractions include an in restaurant Seafood Market where customers can purchase fresh raw fish and the Saltwater Grill’s own packaged mixtures and seasonings. During a recent lunch visit, I personally enjoyed the grilled artichoke appetizer and over stuffed shrimp Po Boy sandwich. Both Mr. McIntyre and Davis spent years working for New Orleans finest French Quarter restaurants and now offer this experience combine with their own personal flair at their restaurant.
